“Images of Mining” shows the remains of mining in Biscay and East Cantabria. A past activity, almost forgotten by the current generations, but necessary to understand the industrialization of Bilbao area; motor of industry and germ of the 20th century’s social movements.

This work compiles the remains of the mining activity so as to save them from falling into oblivion, to reconstruct the map of this activity and to claim its importance.
